Hear about what Mother’s Day means to Latinas Contra Cancer CEO, Darcie Green

“From 2004 to 2014 Latinas Contra Cancer held 10 Annual Mother’s Day Walks engaging over 2,000 participants and informing thousands more about cancer and the unique disparities Latinas face when accessing cancer prevention, treatment and support.

We walked for our health. We walked in memory of our loved ones. We walked for survivors. We walked for equity.

We walked for a cure.

We walked for each other.”
